Ughy buggies

Blah, its been raining all week, and that is what I’m blaming my lack of creativity/ideas on.  I have a few rants that I did, and some other boring garbage, but I’m sparing you your life by not posting them.  Ok, so not your life, but at least a few minutes of it.

I think the next show I do will be 3 minutes of me doing nothing but make random faces at the camera.  I’ll add some music to it and call it a face dance…  yeah that wont be boring at all.

Episode 003: The interview

This one was a little tough to do.  I had to get the timing absolutely perfect,  which in my house, timing things is well, hard.  I managed to do it and I think it turned out half way decent.  Oh and by the way…  NO SCRIPT!

I got an amazing Idea

No, not really. But after careful review of episode 002 I have discover a few things that I can do to make the show a little better.

1. Stop looking at my script.  It looks too planned, too poorly planned
2. Stop using a script.  Stupid crutch.  I rely on it to much and get nervous if i come close to deviating from it
3. Make more crazy facial expressions.  I had the hubby watch it with head phones on.  If you watch the video with no sound – just watch my face – I’m a total wacko.
4. Practice.  Because I forget a lot, and studder and talk slow, and spend whole minutes staring at the camera without saying anything.
5. Talk about what I know.  If I know what I’m talking about then I wont need to have a script and there fore items 1 and 2 do not apply.

So after careful consideration…  The next show will be better I PROMISE.  The only reason these first two were crap is because I was SO DAMN EXCITED IM GONNA BE ON YOUTUBE!!! That I had to do them super fast and super hurry.  Yes, super hurry.

Episode 002

LAME! 

This one was a little more fun to do.  now I just need to get used to being in front of my camera.  I know, what would possibly make someone as shy as me want to plaster her face all over you tube.   You can tell I have no clue what I’m doing.  I keep looking down at my script.   Eventually I’ll be able to migrate away from using my script and everything will flow more smoothly.  Even my lame jokes will sound less lame. 

Also please note that at 1:10 I almost LOL at saying penis.  You can tell Im trying not to make a big deal about saying penis.  But OMG PENIS…

Episode 001

 

Ok so its not the most exciting video.  I’m still learning.  Plus it took almost 3 hours of editing because the kids had to keep asking questions.  Also at one point crystal ran into the room naked asking where her bathing suit was…  So yeah lots of editing.

the ICNH show

This is the boring introduction post telling you ‘welcome to this lame ass site’ .  Everything related to the upcoming shows will be posted here.  Shows?!??!!  What Shows?  The *insert catchy name here* show.  No, thats exactly what I’m calling it.  or the ICNH show.  Which ever is easiest for me to say when I’m talking about it. 

What will the show contain?  Oooh thats top secret information.  Actually its not.  Mostly news and my opinion on whats going on.  I’ll try to make it funny, and interesting.  I have a few skits planned out that I want to incorporate, so that should be fun trying to accomplish.

It wont be live.  Reason one; because I’d look like a moron and reason two is because I will need to make edits to the videos before I post them.  You know, to keep it interesting. 

Also, I’m looking for any suggestions from potential viewers.  And no, there will be absolute no display of my birthday suit.  Also YouTube would not approve of me parading around naked.

Scripts will be posted after the show goes up.  and the first 100 viewers gets a cookie.  Chocolate chip, the soft chewy kind.  No joke, I’m emailing cookies to the first 100 viewers.
